Camp Wanna Praise Him

Dear Readers,

The Handy Dandy Davis Family will be heading out this next weekend for another scheduled ministry time with kids. We will be making our way to our northern neighbors in Michigan. This time next week we will be on the camp grounds of the Great Lakes Bible Methodist. This will be our third year to be the children's workers with these dear people. I have truly come to love and adore these northern friends. Of course Bro and Sis Blake Jones are very dear to our family. Bro Jones helped marry Ang and I 10 years ago this past June the 20th. We will be home less than a week and than we will be heading out once again to Kingston, Ontario for a VBS with Angie's cousin Joe Krohn. We should be returning on Monday and starting VBS at our church (where we will be helping David and Sara Fry). Our theme this year is Camp WannaPraiseHim and we are trying to teach the kids the importance of Praising God. In these busy days and weeks I have to remind myself of my own lessons that I am teaching. Praising God in the good times, Praising God when we want to complain, Praising God when we people "bug" us and Praising God when we are disappointed. I am so looking forward to being in camp once again. The workers this year are Bro Daniel Stetler, Dr Kaufman, Daniel and Angie Edwards. If you think of the Davis family over the next couple of weeks please say a little prayer for us.
